2222.2, believe it or not. I didn't try for such a weird number, but when I saw that just completing my planned workouts would end up there, I was careful to follow the program.

4469.5 started the new year with a half marathon pr 1:12:44
3717 miles for 2004. Previous 5 yrs. I had 2900-3250 per year, so this was a breakthrough for me. Barring injury I'll hit 4000-4200 in 2005.
Missed 8 weeks due to injury and had a 2 week break at end of the summer - totalled 2825 miles for the year.

5,123 miles this past year. Hoping to break 2:20 this year. Ran 2:23 this past year at Chicago. But I think I will probably run more like 4,800 miles this year. Miles certainly aren't the only thing and I learned that lesson in 2004. Too many weeks of dead legs and not being truely rested for Chicago. Good luck to all this year.
How muchh junk? That is 14-15 miles per day on average, including off/rest days and speed work. Do you really run that much, or is this bull shit?
