Shorter was awesome I don't necessarily subscribe to the idea that Olympic medals= greatness. Jim Ryun was iconic, he re-wrote record books as a high schooler and inspired legions of runners. His US high school time in the mile has only been surpassed once since the 1960s, he was that supremely talented.
I just wish things turned out differently in the 1972 Olympics, he had a real shot at gold, which would've been a nice memento to end his career with. Who knows after that, maybe he could've been a 1500/5000 guy?

#2 Galen Rupp. Despite doping claims He is a hella fast white boy to be out there competing against a bunch of guys who came straight outta the huts of Kenya that have been chasing gazelles around all their lives.
#3 The Clark brothas from creekside high school. Their dad musta been pumped up on some sorta androgell when he was goin balls deep in their mom because deez skinny white boys are the fastest of the fast from the JCP hood rats.

#4 Bruce/ Catlyin Jenner. I hella don't know what gender to call shim as s/he was still a dude when he was a runner but now hes a girl with a really manly voice and I hella don't give a fak about your political oppinions. But s/he was a hella fast runner.
