I've thought the same for a few years now. It should be remembered that Monaco is the HQ of the IAAF, and there would be a vested interest in having the Monaco meet as the jewel in the crown of the Diamond League.

If the track was designed with greater energy returns than what the legal limit is, then it would be with IAAF backing.

Almost every athlete that runs there states it's a super fast track. Despite nonsense about all tracks being equal, which is rubbish, this is faster than most.

Secondly, athletes queue up to run here, knowing they will get a pb or super fast time. Why would athletes want to reach a peak for an event in mid July, when the major Champs are invariably at the end of August. It used to be that the meets after the champs, Zurich, Brussels, Rieti, were where the fastest times occurred, as athletes relaxed after the champs and were still in peak form. That has changed in the past 4 or 5 years, with a meet at the IAAF HQ a month before the champs, taking top billing.

I don't think the track is short, but I think it's designed especially for fast times in the middle distances.

Either that or they wave drug testing at the meet! Lol. But I'm sure that would have come out from athletes and coaches by now.

Nearly all of the fastest performances all-time for the 1500m were run between 1998-2004 or so. Hicham and Lagat own the majority of these. This of course was a different 'era' and it had seemed like running under 3:30 may be limited by the biological passport program. 6-7 years go by with almost nothing. One or two blips on the radar in perfectly set races by Daniel Komen. Then Monaco in 2010 has two men under, and another 3yrs on Monaco 2013 has three, then 2014 has seven. This year another six. How does one explain this? To top it off Dibaba sacks the twenty year Chinese abomination at the same meeting.

I enjoy fast racing but all of this just leaves me conflicted. It's not just one or two generational talents but entire fields of runners with eye-popping performances.

Probably SARMs. I did a research project on doping and found that some peptides/SARMs have really short half lives and can be out of your system fairly quick.

-hardly. I can tell you personally that it was tedious, more than anything. Blood was removed (120 days before anticipated use), rbc's spun down, treated, and placed in a freezer. Re-thawing properly was the real trick. Unknown, intermittent power outages were always a concern.

You're wrong. Certain peptides/SARMs can be undetected after +/-24hrs due to a short Half Life. Athletes with deep pockets (Or Coaches) are doping and it's easy to get away with... It's sad... All an athlete would have to do is delay the testing process if he/she has influence.

Which Sarm is undetectable in 24 hours?

Don't quote me, but from what I remember, Andarine can be detected for about 24 hours. I may be wrong (I was looking at animal-based studies) as there is no equivalent study with human trials.

Chill out, man. When two legendary 1500 records from the peak of the epo era are approached or breached, it would make anyone wonder. When 10th place is 3.30 in that same race, bells go off. When a random guy whose pb was 1.46 in June of this year runs 1.42, it's weird. When a world class runner drops 4 secs from her 1500 time to obliterate a world field, it creates questions. So, relax.

how do you know they are even testing for these things? The existence of a test does not mean that it gets applied to each and every sample. too expensive and time consuming.
