Calintine: If you'd reject a guy purely on the fact he lived at home with all else constant, then you're shallow. That's equally as shallow as me rejecting a woman because her breasts weren't big enough.
There's nothing wrong with living with your parents from 18-23. Like I said earlier, if you're still in school or a couple of years out of school, big deal.
But 'bad roommates' eating your food is a ridiculous excuse to stay at home. If you don't like your roommates, find new ones. Seriously, the excuses are pathetic.
Judging someone on a physical attribute out of their control versus growing up and being your own person AREN'T the same thing. Call it shallow if you'd like but a man living at home with his parents at age 27, unless he's in school or taking care of parents or something, is not someone worth dating.
And it's not limited to men, I'd tell my girl friends the same thing. Yes life is tough for our generation but grow up. It's not like we're living in a war zone or a famine.
