White boxes are very annoying...not just distracting.
The photos on the right side are distracting...must zoom page a lot to make them disappear in iPad...that makes the words too large...
I truly must say that after 14-15 years of LetsRun, I truly may stop visiting the site...lately, the content has been very lacking...used to be more diversified content...college content, quality posters, little trolling, etc...and now the board is not appealing...
Maybe I am just getting too old for this...should just invest the time I spend on LetsRun in my training...I should be able to hit 60 miles a week relatively easily...
I hate the contrast of the white boxes on yellow background. It's truly an eyesore.
K BYE!

When I click on a thread, it doesn't automatically navigate to the last page I visited like it used to.
I just did some work to make things better in IE versions 9 and below. Still some kinks to work out but the "all white" problem should be gone.
I just made the blockquotes match the light gray boxes other places on the forum. I think it's a little less shocking than the white blockquote. Any opinions?
I think the post should be in lighter background color than the quotes so that the post stands out more. You might also try slightly lightening the color of the quote text (darkgray?).
All we need is a non running related sub-forum. Make it happen!
Forget the Facebook page. This is the real sign of the apocalypse.

At first I read that as we need a running-related subforum. I thought that would be a good idea.
Thread "page memory" should be back, you should get forwarded to the last past you visited
Niiiice! Zoom and nav working great on my. Ipad, and the larger page numbers on threads are awesome on iPad too!
Well done and thanks :)

I would like to see a "like" post option. This will help me to find good/important posts quickly.
+1. Looking much better overall, but this idea ^ would help.
Like is not a good idea. Never trust other people to decide which posts you should read.

That works fine now.
I'll be honest, though. I hate the positioning and look of the new buttons (Start Thread, Search, Rules, Register). I mean, I would prefer they go back to the right (at least on desktop). But at least make them centered on the page. I'm not sure which is off; the page numbers or those buttons.
I also don't like what's going on with the new reply/return to index/report post buttons. I don't know what it is, but they just seem bloated. Maybe it's the rounded edges to the boxes they're in, maybe it's the weird little pictures next to each one, but it doesn't look good. I do like the tiny separations dividing up each post, though.
But just so you know: I fudging HATE IT when sites shove a mobile design down desktop users' throats. Don't be that guy, Eric the Web Guy.
Also, I don't know it it's just me, but whenever I make a post, that thread isn't the one at the top when I'm redirected back to the messageboard homepage. It's always a few down. The time stamps tell me that the ones at the top haven't been posted on since I pressed 'Post Message', so what's up with that? Is pure bumping not a thing anymore?
I thought the older retro look was better and easier to read. The new layout has too much zoom. You could read more information faster before.
I agree with Malmo. Sorry.
on my desktop firefox the page numbers on the threads used to go purple for pages I'd seen already, and blue for unseen pages. That doesn't work anymore
The search bar doesn't let you use spaces between words
I, for one, disagree with you and Malmo. The new look is a major improvement. Sorry.
