I mean, the dude takes to Twitter about his DQ every day, but can't comment on the Continental Cup? If it was the heat, fine. Next time man up and say you suck running in the heat. Would rather have seen a dude like Ryan Hill, from the heat of NC State, than Bambi running a minute slower than my PR.

Since he was the best the US had to offer, I guess maybe you should have taken his place. You couldn't have done worse than him.
This shows the lack of depth of US (not foreign guys like Lagat and Lomong) runners if that is the best representative that could have been sent. At least Levins (and Salazar) had the sense to realize that he was done for the year and not risk running a terrible performance like Bumbi. US runners should not be invited back to the 5k in future if that is how the event is going to be treated.

I have a hard time believing it was just the heat. Every other runner there also ran in the heat, yet none of them had a performance even as remotely terrible as Bumbalough. Beyond that, even if it WAS hot, a runner of his caliber shouldn't have been reduced to running 5 minute miles.
