Yep. Try some classic music such as "Thunderstruck" by 2Cellos or " The Cello Song" by The Piano Guys. Just saying.

No need for a gun. My hands are registered as lethal weapons in the state of California.
Trying to give "happy endings" is hardly a self-defense plan, even in California.
Are you in the San Francisco/Bay Area?

Shows what a hunter I am. I had to check the box. HSM 180 Grain, RNFP Gas Check. Actually just bought these because the box says Bear Load. I don't shoot the gun nearly enough, but I switch out the box of ammo each year for a fresh one. On the off chance I do pull the trigger I want it to fire. 40 bucks a year seems like a good investment.
Sounds legit wrote:That sounds legit. Do you use a bonded or heavy lead (buffalo bore) round? Very experienced big game hunters usually suggest heavier rounds to penetrate the hides of wild bears.
A grizzly will shove that thing right up your rear.
If you can't be bothered to shoot ONE box of ammo a year, you should not carry a gun or rely on being able to handle it during a bear encounter. And your belief that ammo goes bad in a year leads me to believe you have never fired anything more than a pea shooter at summer camp.
