I don't think you know what College of Health Sciences is do ya ? Plenty of undergrad degrees available through College of Health Sciences - nursing, keniseology, rehab, social services, etc... The fact that you have debated it this long means you have very little chance of making it work. Guys don't always realize that it rarely matters what you say (within reason) but how confidently you say it. Look her in the eye, stand up straight and don't stutter. If she thinks you're mildly attractive you'll at least get a number. Just don't act too interested. Nothing drops panties faster than making her feel like she's gotta hold your interest.

By the way, only about 42% of applicants in each application cycle are actually matriculated at a medical school the following year. Hard to get accepted yo. So she may become one of the many thousands of people that take the test, do bad, then quit. Or simply not get accepted.

Okay so a recap of the last hour or so. I saw her get up and go into line. I quickly pulled out a white post-it note from my computer bag, wrote down my first name and my number and stuck it in my pocket for later use.

Walked up toward the line. She looked back at me and kind of half smiled and looked forward almost immediately after. I was a little nervous at first but fortunately the wait was kind of long. When she turned my way again I waited about 5 seconds and right before she looked away again I asked, "Studying for the MCAT?"

Got to talking while waiting in line. I asked the when and where questions. Then we exchanged names and shook hands. Her name is Kristen. She is 24, majored in biomedical science and her mom is a doctor. She swam in high school thank you very much. I called it.

After the small talk I invited her over to my table. She brought her stuff over. We chatted for about an hour. I enjoyed it. Plus she added me on facebook.

Before she left, I pulled the white post it note out of my pocket and said I knew of a lake party tonight and here's my number if you'd like to hang out. Said it was really nice to meet her. She smiled and just left.

We'll see responds.

OP hasn't updated because he asked blurry girl out for a cup of coffee some time and she said she already has one. He left in tears.

I'd say there was some interest. She smiled a lot, laughed from time to time. We had a nice conversation. I am still at the coffee shop. She's probably home by now, left within the last 10-minutes.

Her MCAT is in January. She mentioned that she had to get out of her house earlier. While we were talking I remember my one friend telling me about the lake party last night. So I just went with it.

I'm quite optimistic about the approach. She said beforehand that she needed to get out of her house (her parent's house). She also made the comment that a lot of her close friends moved out of state after college.

There's going to be a bonfire tonight at the house. I mentioned that. What I didn't mention was the guy who owns the house is about 35 (according to friend last night), married and just bought it last month. It's apparently quite the house. Rumors that his company makes the mouth guards for the Denver Broncos (warning, 2nd hand info) and that the house is worth close to a million.

I also know of another surprise party tonight on the lake.

We shall see. I get the feeling she'll text me later as she said, "I'll text you later." Sorry I keep adding events. It's hard to say everything in a post.
