It is laughable that Letsrunners are so negative about Tracksmith.
The creators obviously love the sport. Reading the product descriptions it is pretty clear that have thought a lot about the history and how to bring some classic elements into modern products.
Even the sizing makes sense for runners and not the average American lardo.
Are you haters really just mad just because you can't afford it?
Did you hate on Reckless Running, too?
I don't hate Tracksmith, but I just don't see the point.
I like their simple shorts, but not at that price point. I can get a pair that's just as durable, just as good looking, and in a wider varierty of colors for half the price.
Instead of their cotton workout tee with \"Tracksmith\" in big letters, I'd rather wear my college workout tee that actually has some meaning to me. Why would I buy an expensive imitation college workout tee when I have a cheap authentic one? I assume most of their target market has an authetic one as well.
I do dig the singlet, but again, not at that price. And, like others have said, most in their target market run for schools or clubs; they've already got their own singlets.
Props to these guys, but what they have now, it's just not my thing. But if they did come out with a cool hooded sweatshirt or track jacket, I actually might be interested. As long as they didn't cost $100, of course.
