USA vs. Germany predictions

The Manaus "excuse" is legit, but nobody is saying that's the reason the US lost to Germany. I'm saying it may be the reason they looked tired compared to the first two matches. The other teams who have played in Manaus have not looked good in their subsequent match either. England and Italy played a great match in Manaus and they both played like crap in their second one. Croatia looked like sh\it against Mexico after coming back from Manaus. Portugal is the only team to get a result after playing in Manaus.

I'm fine with couch potatoes not understanding that it takes an extra day or two to recover from competing in high heat and humidity, but as a runner you can't be that stupid.

I don't have a strong opinion about a Manaus effect one way or the other, but isn't it the case that the US has looked consistently like a second ten rather than top ten or bottom ten squad throughout the tournament?

The US lost to Germany because Germany have better players. The US did tremendously well to keep them at 1-0. In saying that, I think Dempsey and Bradley ran themselves into the ground against Portugal.
