MO Farah to attack world record

While I don't think he'll get near the WR tonight, if you can go see him, do it. Time is short. I saw Pre race twice in my lifetime and then he was gone.

I grew up around Rono's collegiate days. I saw him briefly (it was magical) and then he was gone ... soon after WSU lost its Kenyan connection and there's no distance magic up there anymore.

I've seen some great college football players and then they're gone, many not to even play in the NFL. I love college basketball, guys leave early for the pros now.

Now I understand transportation problems -- I live 10 hours from Eugene, wish I could've seen the NCAA meet. More legends will replace legends, but when a 2-time gold medalist is up the road, I'd encourage you to see him when you can. He'll be gone and retired before you know it.

Im not saying it is a soft mark...it isn't. I do think it is softer than 7;20 though

Haha- maybe you should learn some basic math. Please explain to me how Ritz is proportionally closer to the WR in the marathon than the 5k. Ritz' 5k PR is 18.92 seconds off the world record. 18.92 seconds/5k for a marathon would equal roughly 2:40, which would mean Ritz should have run ~2:06 to be as proportionally close to the WR in the marathon, you dumb f*ck.
