Goliath was a crosfitter. He trolled that Israeli camp and dared anyone to come to his box and compete with him. He was done in by skinny little guy who preferred being a sheep shepherd to fighting in his daddy's army.

I'll attempt a serious answer, since almost none of the 'funny' answers are any good (except XFit_1 who brings it as always).

1. Be less injured than him on game day

2. Get more effective with your PEDs than him (not being snarky, I happen to assume most/all elite Xfitters, runners etc are on PEDs and it's just something to master along with everything else)

3. Be as athletic/gymnastic as him, but a little bigger (he's 5'9")

4. Be as strong/explosive as him, but a little lighter (he's 195)

5. Be better at exercising than he is.

6. Get out of your Nike contract long enough to participate in an event that promotes Reebok.

Btw, as videos go, that really wasn't so bad.

Bolt's 100m final in London has 10 times as many views. The London 4X100 has 3 times as many views. That's what really matters with people voting with their mice.

But you can't beat Froning because circuit training is not a sport and Froning won't come out and race or compete in things like World's Strongest Man. That's why everyone I know outside people trolling this website don't know or care who he is.

What is Rich Froning's mile time? I saw on Twitter he just did a mile TT and some other Crossfit dude tweeted something about how Froning had only run 3 times in 3 months and set a PR. Over/under on whether it was sub 6?

Oh please. I'm the one who popularized Froning's slow running, but let's be real here. Rich Froning can clean and jerk 370 pounds. That's not a parlor trick. His body is a RIPPED and SHREDDED as anyone in the NFL.

Adrian Peterson (generally considered to be one of the most RIPPED and SHREDDED guys in the league):

Looking at them side by side I'd give the edge to Peterson, but it's close. Froning is definitely ahead of any of the white guys.

Bolt gets 250k just for SHOWING UP to one of many events of the season. Any decent speed/power athlete should they be enticed to do so could destroy froning off a years training.

He has the crappiest endurance ever (Im not a distance runner and weigh 200 lbs but can crack 20 in a 5k, my hobby jogging office bound friends can come close)

He has crap speed (watch him try and sprint)

He has decent power and good muscular endurance and thats why he beats the other 3rd rate former college benchwarmers.

It would be cool see David Rudisha versus Rich Froning in a 400-meter race.

Who was living in caves 5000 years ago never mind had saber toothed tiger meat that wasn't about 5000 years past its best before date?

The truth is that back in cave days Froning would have maybe been the guy they got to build the fire and perhaps gather wood.

The other stuff would have been up to the real men. Not much point in asking a guy to go hunting when he is going to get to the kill when the butchering is already done.

Froning, like most people who are good at lifting weights, has short legs and a long torso. It's good for a lot of sports (men have proportionately shorter legs than women), particularly where short bursts of speed and starting and stopping are important, but it results in a low top-end speed. That will hurt him in just about any distance beyond 20 meters.

But you are wrong when you say he has poor endurance. He can row a 2k in 6:25. That's even more impressive when you consider that he's 5'9" and rowing favors being tall.
