Governments all over the World lie. Why would this situation be different?

What I would like to know is - what really happened. That there were lies seems clear but a lot of the conspiracy theories seem too far-fetched to me.

Yeah in general i dont put much stock in this (or the crazy birthers), but it bothered me the moment it was reported and still leaves me feeling like we dont have the full story.... A plane crashed into a building, the building collapses, literally tons of crap on the ground... But you found the passport?I think the simple answer to that is they figured it out by some NSA/CIA program and came up with that BS story to keep the program in the dark.

It is usually true that people who believe in wild conspiracies are very guilty of filtering information to support their view. Anyone who tries to make a persuasive fact-based case against a conspiracy theory is usually dismissed as being a fool or a dupe, or worse - even part of the conspiracy!

When people talk about the JFK assassination, the moon landing, 9/11, etc.., as really just government conspiracies (no matter how complex and outlandish they would have had to be), I always ask this simple question: If our government was so good at executing such a massive deception against its own people, how come the Nixon Administration was unable to cover up a simple break in at the Watergate complex. The entire attempt at a cover up was exposed by two poorly paid beat reporters for the Washington Post.

And that's just one example.

seriously good point. this government is ineffective at almost everything...except covering up massive false flag operations invloving thousands and killing thousands. Then the gov't is bloody brilliant.

Have you not read any of the posts besides this one? There have been many examples as to why it all seems fishy. Small pentagon hole with barely any plane parts, demolition style building collapse (first in the world ever - twice), terrorist pass port magically found, "coincidental" stock changes days before, questionable news coverage and slip ups by the media, and so on. Instead of bashing us conspiracy theorist for logically assessing the situation, how about you come up with some proof that says otherwise. Believe me, I'm all ears...

I think you missed my previous posts.

I find it VERY hard to believe that big planes crashed into the Pentagon and in Philadelphia.

And I also find it VERY strange that that passport was "found".

And yes, a 300+degree turn at 500+mph in such a tight radius is very impressive. the pilot of the pentagon plane had a full FAA commercial pilot license.
