Would you rather fight 1 NFL player or 10 13-year old football players?

10 NFL players = approximately 42 midgets?
Here's the answer to your question

It would be just tiger against 10 big guys. What strategy might they use?
Die quickly
Wonder if Flagpole would consider those guys Real Men. Takes incredibly big balls to walk straight at a pack of feeding lion.

What about 10 Bruce Lees or other martial arts experts? Are not some of the Asian martial arts specifically designed to combat tigers?
Besides, I hope that tigers will soon become extinct. They are foul and nasty animals and without them the world will be a far better place.
They do control the populations of all animals below them in the animal chain, either directly or indirectly. I really hope that you are trolling.
For the guy who used the analogy of ten dogs versus a man, I feel obligated to bring some reality to the table. I assume you've never been victim of a true dog attack. Not a dog running at you during a run, but a true attack where a dog is trying to hurt you. I have unfortunately and it sucks balls. I never felt my life was in danger, but I ended up with some signifcant injuries. If he had a few buddies I can't imagine the end result. For anybody who thinks you just grab the dog and break their neck...think again. I'm a big guy and strong as hell, and I had no chance of securing this dog long enough to snap his neck. With their fur and flexibility and strength and speed you can't handle them when they are in full attack mode.
As others have said, no amount of humans would have any chance versus a tiger.
I think the only chance is the tiger getting tired. I doubt this would happen because all 10 humans would be dead within one minute.
It doesn't matter if they are NFLers or martial artists or anything. Wild animals are absolutely terrifying.

When I was in the Army (1967) I was stationed at Ft Gordon, Georgia and witnessed the following at a traveling carnival:
A carney had a cage with a 90 pound (estimate) chimpanzee inside. The chimp had a face mask that kept it from using his teeth and his hands and feet covered with gloves.
The carney said that he would pay anyone who could stay in the cage for three minutes a certain amount of money. (I can't remember the amount)
One of the largest, toughest soldiers from Ft. Gordon took a turn in the cage and was screaming to be let out within 30 seconds.
Wild animals are unbelievably fast and strong.
Also, there is the fact that ten guys would just get in each others way.
There's no way that they would even be able to pin a large tiger, let alone kill it.
Old guy 67 I can not get this out of my head. That must have been nuts. Do they still do things like this?

Too right. After seeing the graveyard dog-attack scene in The Omen I am convinced that being attacked by a pack of big dogs would be an absolutely terrifying experience.
I think they could provided the pawns to stick to their roles when they're about to die.
with 10 athletic defensive lineman (your JJ Watt's of the world) I think they could pull it off it would come with several casualties, I would say 5 or 6, but having worked with some NFL players I don't think people realize how freakishly powerful and strong some of these guys are!
I agree when you say how freakishly powerful and strong some of these guys are next to humans but compared to a lion they would be beyond slow and weak. Reverse your thinking and imagine how fast a tiger would go thru a offensive linemen to get to the quarterback. They would be sacked before they could hand off.
Anybody who thinks the NFL players stand a chance against an adult male tiger once he is in attack mode are incredibly naive.
An adult tiger, male of female can take out the largest grizzly bear in a matter of seconds. The size, speed, weaponary (claws on all four legs and teeth), strength and agility of the tiger are like none other in the animal kingdom. It would be analagous to putting a top MMA fighter against 10 5 year-olds.

If you can't handle a dog then you aren't that strong. Especially considering that you're probably a runner. I'd guess that you bench like 250 lbs and think that's strong.
Any human should be able to take down 1 dog. The reason you couldn't is because you were scared and weren't fearful of your life.

You've never been attacked by a dog, unless it was a tiny dog.
Sounds like a job for Michael Vick. Just enlist the services of another tiger.

No, that's highly unlikely. Even if you consider that the Grizzly bear is just one of the smaller varieties of Brown Bear.
Tigers also come in many subspecies and some of the females are not much bigger than a leopard.
I think they could probably overpower it, but how are you going to kill a tiger? I know bears are impossible to knock out, for example, so tigers probably are as well. And they've got thick fur, so you probably can't even choke them out. Maybe if you had guys try to exhaust him, then the others jumped on top and just crushed him to death?

Well, it is pretty unlikely since I don't think their ranges overlap at all.
I had to check to make sure I wasn't reading The Onion. What carnage.
