German Fernandez runs 13:25 as an 18 year old and then never runs faster???!!!!

What makes you think Kipchoge wasn't 18 in 2003? I just watched the WC 5000m from that year when he beat El Guerrouj and Bekele and he looked like a kid to me. If he wasn't 18 in 2003 that also means that he's currently the best marathoner in the world in his mid-thirties.

And to the other poster, kipchoge was very likely not 18, I think we all know that. And furthermore, as you state, he did later run significantly faster than he did at "18," and has gone to many, many, other great performances, including recent 1:00 1/2 marathon and 2:05:30 marathon. So, those are not 5k races, but if German goes to run anything like that someday, no one will be worrying about his 5k pr.

I still think there is a curse on anyone who breaks the HS 2 mile record since Jeff Nelson did it.

I think he means LV also (but I guess LV technically beat GF's record, not JN's record, since JN no longer held it. Was that your point? Either way, 2 people is not a lot either)
