But my point is that April has resonance among violent right wingers, and apparently right wing violence is on the rise.
It is still tiny and barely material, agreed.
agip, you're no idiot, but seriously? What you implied is disappointing, especially the manner in which you went about it. I think Precious Roy may be on to something. Why does it have to be a right-wing or left-wing "nut?" Even if either one turns out to be the case, it's a morally compromised individual all the same and a horrific act. I'll one up you and imply it was an atheist since National Atheist day also falls in April. Sounds kind of dumb.

Sagarin I may very well be an idiot.
But I am sure that in some FBI conference room a group of agents/cops are saying the same thing I am. Fact is, extreme right wing violence is sort of like this - they would be wrong to ignore extreme right wing violence.
There is a direct precedent - the bombing of the Atlanta Olympics. There a guy with a right wing agenda (anti gay, anti abortion, anti government), set off a bomb at an international sporting event.
To my memory no muslim group has ever done that. (Munich was different, clearly)
So I'm not sure what your point is - the day was an important one in right wing mythology. The act had a precedent by right wing terrorists, and right wing violence is apparently rising, if still small. These are valid points and worthy of discussion.
