Does anyone else support drug users? I'm always disappointed when I hear somebody got caught.

Why are drugs illegal? There is no good answer to this question. You'll only hear self righteous spiel and misinformed propaganda.
1. Why don't they announce the names already? What's the holdup? Need to negotiate first?
2. I doubt they will reveal any high profile names. They saw what happened to cycling. No need to destroy the sport. Probably some Russians and North Africans, but certainly not El G.

I think that Kiptanui's interview with the BBC last month was a harbinger. As was Kenya's poor performance in the Games. I've heard this argument a couple times now, that Kenyan did bad in the Olympics because they had a bunch of top guys get caught doping. My question is how the hell did Kenya do bad in the Olympics? They had as many medals in the middle and long distance events as Ethiopia, the US, and Great Britain put together! On the men's side they won 7 of the 18 available middle and long distance medals. The great Ethiopia by contrast only had 2.

Yup, the zero-level tolerance is a sham. At some level drugs do not provide a benefit. But, zero-level tolerance makes a lot of money for the anti drug fools. Yes, drugs to enhance performance are bad, but trying to test for one atom of something is a complete joke. You can legal drive with a BAC of less than 0.08% because it doesn't impair performance. WADA needs to set limits other than absolute zero.

Capdevielle said 19 athletes had already been sanctioned for biological passport violations and "17 cases are currently under proceedings".
He added that three of the latter cases had been referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
"For all cases we brought forward we suggested a four-year ban because in each case we felt there had been 'aggravated circumstances'.
"But in some cases the sanction was reduced to two years because athletes made an admission of guilt.
We might not hear about the CAS cases for a little while, but I don't see any reason to withhold the names of the ones who have admitted their guilt.

Interesting... Moses Mosop was scheduled to race in Dubai this year and the news reports said he had fully recovered from his previous injury, but had to stay home in Kenya to deal with "urgent family matters".
The 2012 Dubai men's winner Ayele Abshero who ran 2:04:23 on his debut, pulled out due to injuries.
Same for the 2012 women's winner, Aselefech Mergia.

You say you want track and running to be as clean as possible? How about having your say someplace where it might actually have the chance of some effect? Where it might actually encourage those who work daily to stop the cheaters, to get their jobs done.

So, all an athlete needs to do is cry they didn't cheat intentionally, or weep didn't know they took too much of something that is banned? Cry rivers of tears of honesty and you get to keep your Silver metal.
I suspect it is over half east africans, mostly ethiopeans, maybe one of which I will have heard of. Buncha 2:05-2:06 east africans.

If they really care about anti doping and clean sport, they should make it easy for you to "contribute positively" and take positive actions...
