I know alot of people look at V3 like he was crazy when he posted that 7:23/7:24 prediction, but that doesn't seem batshit crazy anymore. It's certainly possible Rupp could go a little under 7:30 indoors, so given outdoors being a couple seconds faster you are already looking at 7:25-7:27.

Another couple seconds isn't easy, but it's not impossible either.

Seriously though...what is the limit with this guy. He just doesn't stop posting better times each year. I have decided that it's clearly not a wise move to ever bet against what Rupp may do.

Now I just wanna see him taking on the big boys in a consistent fashion.

Absolutely legit. If he hadn't had to lap people, that 7:30.16 would have been a 7:29. Ventolin probably doesn't help his case with all of the "moron", "idiot", and "drivel" claims, but his claims are solid.
