Ian Stewart thinks it is still the 1970/80s and that he is Andy Norman. That dinosaur behavior during the internet age will quickly bring about your extinction. Now it's his turn to be told to f*ck off.

There was no price - at least Nick Symmonds claims he races diamond league meets for free. I thought the more obvious he was barred/uninvited/whatever was so Andrew Osagie would finish one place better... one less non-African ahead of him.

He said nothing about their price being too high. He essentially said he didn't like them.

As a meet director you put personal issues and feelings aside and do what's best for your meet. He didn't do that.

Nick Symmonds is on record that he had not asked for ANY fee and he doesn't for any DL meets.

Why did Ian Stewart go down?

Because he was an aszhole pure and simple.

There is another article out there that reviews his history of abusive behavior, profane tirades, and drunken profane tirades towards athletes.

He was forced to issue an apology to one athlete at least; and good on that athlete for standing up in the face of ill behavior.

If you believe Symmonds competes for free you must have been born yesterday. The argument was probably about advertising though I hear Lolo wanted to wear a headband with advertising or something. The rule on personal advertising is driven by the main sponsor. If he didn't run him because he didn't like him that's wrong. But maybe he though he' run and then start tweeting and moaning about not being allowed to wear his advertising? I wonder how his pay compares still Kenyan athletes with the same times. Is he campaigning about that!

nick better race clean at usatf high performance and other southern california meets this spring and summer because the drug test corps here doesn't take any prisoners.

These people make money off the athletes. You're forgetting that without the athletes, there is no fu##ing race.

Why do A-list actors get 20-30 million a movie? Maybe because the studio makes a 100 million from them, that's why.

Without the athletes, you have nothing.
