Most overrated Jedi?

Yoda is not over rated. The reason he didn't kill the sith is because he is quoted as saying that there are always two sith, no more, no less. So for him to kill a sith would make him a liar and the known universe would cease to exist.

How about all those guys on the Jedi council that never did a thing?

I'd have to say the most overrated Jedi was Kwi Gon Jinn was the most overrated. Killed by Darth Maul in a two v one situation

Kwi Gon Jinn was not highly rated. He often disagreed with the Jedi council and was not allowed to be part of it.

Nerd Alert:

Starting with the battle on Geonosis he lead as a general until he was forced to flee. He had to lead a multi front war and did a pretty successful job of pushing the separatists to the outer rim. He really didnt get much time for training and sword play.

Over rated he is not. He took a grown boy in Luke Skywalker, trained him and helped him defeat the empire. Yoda could do a lot if didn't have to lead a war against thousands of systems and droid armies.

Anyone making a case for Anikin/Vader should remember fool got his arms chopped off a total of 4 times.

Mace Windu developed a lightsaber style based upon the vaapad. The style used quick and deadly strikes to overcome the enemy, much like how the vaapad would use its tentacles on prey. Windu created this style with aid from Sora Bulq, although Windu and his former apprentice, Depa Billaba, were considered to be the form's only masters.

Juyo was a aggressive light saber form used during the old republic era. Juyo while having practitioners both Jedi and Sith was much more widely used by Sith due to its aggressive nature. Juyo was utilized by Darth Maul and as effective against lightsaber wielding opponents. While Juyo was strong against lightsaber opponents it was weaker against blaster fire. Juyo also had the option of being used with dual blades but was more suited for double bladed lightsabers making the combination very deadly. Mace Windu took Juyo and expanded upon it. Master Windu created Vaapad in order to channel all of the anger he felt during a battle. While Master Windu could control his anger and hate while using an aggressive style many others could fall to the dark side while utilizing it.

Anakin is the chosen one. However, he switches to the dark side. and Luke is, what no one can deny, the Jedi that Anakin could have been. Luke is therefore as good as how good the chosen one could have been. The chosen one being the most powerful equalizer...

First by Dooku in AOTC, second by Obi Wan in ROTS and thrid by Luke in ROTJ. When was the fourth time?

How can Luke be the most powerful, he can't shoot lightning from his fingertips the way Sidious can. He has no special powers.

Luke fought Vader, cut his hand off. Declared allegiance to the Jedi in front of Vader and The Emperor.

The Emperor used his lightning which had NEVER before failed to kill someone. Luke then used his surroundings (the emotions or regret and redemption his dying father was having) to kill The Emperor in a weakened state.

The Emperor used lightning to kill Vader.

Vader killed the Emperor, who killed Vader. Two of the most powerful dark side members died at the control of Luke.

He disagreed with the Jedi Council as he sometimes disagreed with their methods and acted like a maverick. If he was to go with the flow and agree with them on more issues, he WOULD have been a part of it. As he was so young (since Dooku was his master), as Jedis go, I'd say he was highly rated.

Why don't we make a jedi rating system like the BCS? We can see how we would rank them and then decide who is the most overrated that way.

I agree with Yoda being overrated. He couldn't stop Count Dooku or Darth Sidious, and why was it so hard for him to lift the thing that was going to crush Anakin and Obi-wan in Episode II if he was able to lift Luke's X-Wing no problem? For being the greatest Jedi ever he should have been able to kill Count Dooku, and he also clearly ran away from Darth Sidious in Episode III. He could have hopped back up the different Senate seats to fight more but instead he ran away
