Is anybody thinking possibly Iona? They didn't have a good showing at Nat's but we all know they always put together a strong team. Santos handled Lenny Korir pretty well and it's also not far from Newark

From what I have observed it seems like a lot of this is true. They train really fvking hard there. Some get hurt like Bosshard some run great like Hurysz. Either way you are in denial if you do not think Wetmore gets some amazing recruits.
Cassidamius,
Wetmore has gotten some amazing recruits over the years but NOTHING compared to other top programs like Stanford, Oregon and of recent Oklahoma State.Whats really amazing is how well he does against these programs with what he has to work with. I'm wondering when some of these young high school stars are going to realize this and quit jumping on these historical bandwagon schools. We have lost almost all of our top in state talent over past several years. Who knows, maybe there is more to it than what we know, and Wetmore doesn't want these stars for certain reasons.
As a side note there is one high school star that I would like to see Wetmore recruit. He is not that well known outside of his state but he is running times that are very difficult to run in this area and dominating races and that is high school junior Ricky Faure from Rock Springs, Wyoming. He is on track to become the 1st 4 time wyoming state xcountry champ. We've had several 2 time champs , but wyoming has never had a 3 time or let alone a 4 time champ.
