This is D1. Does DAXC800 currently go to Deerfield? also in the 3000 beit is DA, Colt is NMH.

Yeah, we do. With probably stronger fields (not deeper though) this year than DI.
Too bad we don't have indoor track...

Yeah, I would agree. NEPSTA D3, assuming no one gets hurt, has some really good individuals in it.

There's also Joey Mullen, out of RL, ran 9:24 in the 3k as a freshman. Then there's a few other strong Middlesex runners returning. Peter Howe (4:09 1500 last spring) and Nick Stewart (9:27 3k last spring).

yes very true indeed....randon is probably one of the best runners EVER to come out of NEPSTA if you consider he is going to nationals (NXN), with a 5th place finish at the Nike Cross NE meet on 11/24. I think he ran around 16:00, which is really great considering the course. He, and Patrick Bensen,(Deerfield class of 2000 or 2001) are the only kids to go either to Footlockers or NXN.....let me know if anyone else has gone to either of these two meets from NEPSTA!

nope, I just looked, he finished 18th his senior season, but he went on to be amazing!

this year Anoush Shehedah from Andover qualified for FL with 5th place
two years ago Ariel Beauregard-Breton from Deerfield, 10th at FL NE, 17th at nationals
also Melissa Donais '02 Andover won FL NE as a soph (then 27 at nationals)

Tony Riley, multiple ACC champion in the 1500 and XC and multiple All-American at NC State, attended Northfield Mt Herman. As did Frank Shorter.
Note: Tony Riley was ACC champ in the 1500 as a freshman so he was obviously very good in HS... And he didn't even win the NEPSTA XC championship.
How long has FL been around? Frank Shorter ran for NMH but I don't know what year he graduated.

I'll bite. Reich is a monster but he doesn't know how to run the 800m. If he figures it out he wins this spring in 1:51-52. Horton over Scannell 1500m in 4:01-03 if it isn't tactical. Gray 3k 8:50.

Alumni news: Tully Gannon, Loomis Chaffee '09 was 5th at DIII nationals last week for Bates.
Anoush Shehadeh ran many xc races this fall (she ran for Andover's team) and broke course records on the Andover, NMH, Exeter, and St. Pauls cross-country courses
She also won the D1 champs at Northwest park by 26 seconds

her goal was probably to qualify and since she knew by the end that she was going, she didn't kill herself trying to pass people
Hussein ran 9:14.5 indoors on Saturday. I think he is the man to beat.
