Now that is an impressive performance! This is the type of performance that is inspiring to runners, as opposed to the British runner who tore a hamstring in the 1992 Olympic prelims for the 400m and hopped his way to the finish.
Spoken as a person who has clearly never run fast enough to tear a hamstring.
It is absolutely impossible to continue running with a torn hamstring, no matter how brave you are.
It is still possible to keep running, albeit it in great pain, with a broken fibula as the major bone in that area, the tibia, is still intact.
