Well, I suppose that it depends on your definition of "aerobic". I'm defining it as "still using oxygen to run at that speed". As opposed to something like creatine phosphate.

She was almost certainly in 29:30 shape in 2008 considering how easily she closed her 29:54. I wouldn't be surprised if she's getting back to that kind of form.
Needless to say, someone REALLY needs to organise a paced 10k for Dibaba. Give her a 14:45-50 opeing 5k and lets see if she can go sub 29:30.

Notwithstanding the obvious fanatical fixation the letsrun.com site owner has regarding the "d" word, it would be great if people chilled on this issue. A) LR is SO touchy about drugs. I have had several posts deleted because they mentioned the possibility of PED's
B) As far as testing, if it actually caught people, that would be great. Ben Johnson passed multiple tests for 4 years. The only reason Marion Jones was caught was someone turned in a sample of what she was taking - the tests only looked for what they know of. The chemists are ahead of the testers.
I'm agree. The 1984 video of Coe put this year's 1500m race, and the doping issues more generally, into perspective. Coe not only ran 2 seconds faster than this year's winner, but he also blew away the field, he closed just as fast as this year's winer, AND was approximately 2 second off the WR. And after the finish he does not appear winded. Was Coe doping?

Dibaba was great from an early age. Her performance in the London 10k was nothing special for her.
I have it on good authority that Seb Coe was too juiced to lose.
Of course, the difference is that he was Sebastain Coe, the greatest middle-distance runner ever.
And Dibaba is the greatest female distance runner of all time. 3 Olympic Gold Medals,4 World Championship Gold Medals.
