Jeff See all the way!

How do you forget about Jeff See?
Hopefully Merber and McNamara work together to push the pace for the standard.
I'm looking for Phoebe Wright to be a spoiler here. She's got something to prove and can close hard.

Right after they work together to push the hurdle cart off the track, and getting the goldfish out of the steeple pit.

I read this in the context of the men's 1500 and have been laughing for a good 3 minutes. Imagine Phoebe Wright blowing by a bunch of 3:34-9 guys on the home stretch. F the women's A standard, Phoebe's dropping a 3:35 bi+ches!
I know I'm not the only one who wants Jack Bolas to do well.
I'm gonna take Manzano for the win, followed by Centro in second and either Andrews or relative darkhorse McNamara for 3rd. I'd love to see Jordan run well and make the team, he's a guy that deserves it and has been running pretty well this year.
Only 6 have the standard so far (not 7 -- Wheating doesn't have it yet).Manzano 3:33.66Brown 3:34.11Centro 3:34.46Andrews 3:34.78See 3:35.21Torrence 3:35.41http://usatf.org/Events---Calendar/2012/U-S--Olympic-Team-Trials-TF/Athlete-Info/Entry/Status-of-Entries.aspx

Kyle Merber is less than a half second off as well.

Who finished two places ahead of Centro in Paris when he got his A standard?
why does the A standard still matter? in the finals, won't only 3 people make the team regardless if a total of say 10 of the 1500m runners have hit an A standard. why does it matter at this point? sorry if dumb question
Because you have to have the A to go. A guy without the A standard could win the trials and still not go to the Olympics.
theres so much talent.. I would love to see centro and manzano make it.

Does anyone know why Christin Wurth is not running?
I was wondering the same thing. Is she done competing?
How about these two "LOCOS" from the Modesto, Ca area:

I stand corrected. Thanks for nothing, USATF.
Manzano is not getting enough love here. Leo is a legitimate olympic team candidate, don't overlook him in favor of the young guns.
It looks like Wheating entered with his time from this year while others, like Centro, entered with their qualifying time from last year.
I assume it is up to the athlete to decide which performace to enter.
This dropped him from a 3 seed to an 8 seed, which jumbled the heats a bit. Shouldn't matter in the first round.
It looks weird to see Russell Brown as the #2 seed, but he is faster than Centro and has run faster than Wheating over the last year and Lomong and Lagat are not in it.

You are missing the point. He is not WHITE! This is Letsrun.com. If a runner is not white he gets no props here. This is the last bastion of whitey clinging to the hopes of actually being contenders on the world stage. The whites are constently reminded of their inferiority when they get their asses handed to them in athletics and when they look down at their micro units.
what happened to wurth-thomas this year?
