Mo trafeh fakes time to qualify for Nationals?

Or, more recently, great piece on Hillary Stellingwerf running a big PR for the Olympic A despite repeatedly throwing up due to food poisoning on her warmup.

Food poisoning makes you feel awful, but the best you feel is probably while racing, when your mind is off of it.

Looks like a friend of him asked on Sunday that he let them know if he made the a standard so they could book tickets, sounds like he at least he had the plan to race at least. Also contains a photo of him sitting with a friend after the race, but no results posted from him. Only an update that says he will run at the trials if his last workout today goes well. So maybe he was sick if he is thinking of not running the trials.

Well that really clears things up. Anyone have photos of him running this race?

They were gonna take pictures of his running, but Gammoudi of Tunisia kept pushing through to try to pass Mills and Clark for the lead and Mo kept getting pushed out of the frame. I'm sure he was there, though. Anyone have any photos of his barf so we can see what caused the food poisoining?

I guess it just seems so unlikely that a guy with pr's of 42:58 15k and 1:00:39 HM could manage to break 13:33.

Crazy! I saw his updated meet entry post on USATF declaration and immediately wondered how and where he ran this. If this is a false time it is about as low a thing as you can do in this sport.

This thread is the all time low of let's run posts.

Mo ran 13:39.71 on May 19th in England, in freezing conditions and wind, on his own.

Athletics is a global sport. To doubt a result because it happens somewhere far from the USA, is nothing short of racism.

defintely something sketchy here. I don't think anybody doubt about the fact that Trafeh can run 13.33 (juiced or not), it's more about the fact that the podium picture doesn't match with the results. Anyway, trafeh will probably not show up in eugene. He will find a low key meet that mattters more than the trials.

I don't think that's actually the podium. I think that's the winner standing with his friends. Notice how they're all standing on top, and not at 2 and 3? And the guy who people think was 3rd was a DNF?

Just three friends holding prizes they didn't win, getting their photo taken with some sort of race official. I do that all the time.

I think people would lay off if anybody could produce a photo of Mr. Trafeh participating in this race. We have photos of other people running and a photo of the #1, #2 and not Trafeh standing on the podium with what appear to be prizes.

Guy in the middle is Ezekiel Meli Kiprotich (1st place), guy on right is Tonny Wamulwa (2nd place), and the guy on left is Mohamed Boulait (DNF?!). They're all holding checks and boxes. Either they gave the 3rd place prize to the wrong guy, or they mixed up the two Mohameds in the results.

I say it is real, because if it was fake he wouldn't have made up such a fake sounding time.

There is drug testing at the Trials. I would like to see Mo complete a race with a drug test. He drops out every time.
