Mo Farah just ran a 2.51 1200m OUTSIDE in training!

I watched the 1st part of the workout (1200, 800, 400) before having to leave. A friend later shared the remainder of Rupp's workout. He didn't have exact times, but had mentioned a bunch of miles around 4:20 plus the 200s. Damn impressive.

i'm a little unsure how accurate the 52.3 is ( remarkable if it was in a workout after a coupla other runs - but obviously hand-time, likely flying & possibly a touch generous )

i actually was using a line of fit for him last year of

52.3 / 1'49.7 -> 3'34.4 , 4'51.1 , 7'27.9 , 12'49.9 , 26'43.6

that line was more predicated on "knowledgeable" posters insisting he didn't have 3'32/3'33 ability, refusing to accept you can run such times off mostly endurance ( komen 3'29 anyone ??? )

i might go back to my original line for him :

51.8 / 1'48.9 -> 3'33.2 , 4'49.8 , 7'26.3 , 12'48.2 , 26'42.7

i do believe he can go 3'33 ( if he even cares, seeing as that line indicates he is capable of well below 12'50 ! )

Oh yeah was a flying start! As was olionairds 50. That being said he defo ran 52 which is very impressive after the quality done before..

No doubt your first line is very true of Rupp I think he defo has 3:34 speed if solinsky ran 3:35...I could see Rupp running 3:52-53 this weekend in Boston, hopefully o'lionaird will be in the same range, great guy as well...

I will say all around the board Rupp is the great white hope he has def stole motrams title as the # 1 mazungo in the world..I truly can't wait for his marathon debut because I see that as his best distance, I.e his ferocity and lack of fear when he ran NYC half

Anyway the thread is on mo and he is the best in the world, barring injury he will be world champ no matter what Bekele's fitness is like..Mo running 2:51 sounds to me like his finishing gear is only Gunna be even more outrageous...and from chats round these parts Mo has left Kenya having channelled his inner gazelle and is ready for any challenge!!

How was anything I said trolling?

You basically just confirmed everything I said but went into a little more detail. I wasn't writing everything down. To me it sounds like you have over-stated what Rupp did. But maybe I'm mistaken. I can't remember if I stayed for the whole thing or was doing something else.
