Nice article on Knudson. Thank you for introducing his thought to me. I do multi-pace training too, but not in exactly the way he does it. It makes sense to me. Why not see how fast you can get at 30 mpw before moving up to 40 mpw?

80 is quite a bit more than 50, especially with a lot of lifting.

Perhaps he was doing 80 mpw in base training and now that the season is upon us and he is back in school he has dropped his mileage?
