Curtis hasn't done anything in international meets to speak of. When he goes to one, we will start to follow him more. Until then, he will be one of many runners who does well on a given day but is not truly elite yet.

Why do we care what a guy with no chance of getting a medal ran?

We care about the guys that have ran very fast and close to world best... like Solinsky, Ritz, Lagat, etc.

I was only interested to see how Tegenkamp would do, because a good run would bode well for his future 5000s.
