My 800 when I could do 95 strait Pushups = 1:54.
My 800 when I could do 20 strait Pushups = 1:54.
In conclusion, pushups do nothing for running.

I'm pretty sure no one said anything about pushups and running. This thread has nothing to do with running. It's a simple question of "how many pushups can you do".
While pushups are a measure of muscular endurance it is also related to muscular strength. Everyone I know who can pump out a high # of pushups over 2:00 can also lift a fair amount of weight on the bench relative to their bodyweight. Meaning if you can bench 250-300lbs or more then doing pushups while you only weight say 180lbs is far easier than if you can only bench 200lbs.

So you're saying that it's good to be able to do a lot of pushups because 1.) it won't slow you down; and 2.) you won't be a p*ssy, right?
43 just the other day in gym class. Form was feet together, body in a straight line and our partner put there hand in a fist under our chest, we had to touch our chest to the fist for it to count. I did that 100 push ups program some other posters were talking about but got lazy and stopped doing it after a few weeks.
I don't mess around with these sissy push up. I do penis push ups like a champ. Around 6 at a time.
Well this is a RUNNING website so I decided to make my post related to RUNNING while still answering the question.
don't be fooled

I've never maxed out but I could probably do 40 with proper form.

RECORD HISTORY
6,006 Charles Linster (USA)05-Oct-1965
7,026 Robert Louis Knecht (USA)05-Feb-1976
7,650 Henry C. Marshal (USA)01-Sep-1977
10,507 Minoru Yoshida (JAP)Oct-1980
Yoshida's world record is currently under investigation because there was a fan in the room that was turned on "high" producting an unacceptable headwind which created too much lift.
Easily the post of the hour! I laughed heartily at that, heartily.
