99flapper - Either you have set the bar too low or you're running some of your runs way too fast. No reason you should be doing 10 at 6:50pace the day before your 20miler. Maybe 7:50s.

I'm planning on racing a lot this spring. While last fall, I did more of a specific build-up to the marathon, this season, I'm just training hard, racing a lot and seeing what happens. For my fall marathon, I'll probably train really similar to how I did for Rocket City, so I'm trying to mix-up the stimulus some these next few months.
