Am I the only one who has noticed that this poster apparently hates runners and all things related to running, yet he is posting very actively on letsrun? This is a troll if ever I have seen one.
By the way, as I've told my overweight friends who do nothing but gain weight every year: there is a reason that the biggest loser includes a lot of running and concludes with a marathon. Running works. And FYI most runners also do strength training, eat healthy and lots of other things that probably haven't occurred to you. Every time I go to the doctor they are amazed at my heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol level, LACK of medications, etc. And I'm the most muscular 41 year old woman I know.
