I used to race quite a few 3k's to 10k's barefoot on the track, 800 and 1500 too, and found this to be more comfortable and faster than with shoes.

Keith -- how was your 1500 on the 27th? Hope you achieved your goal!
Didn't run - I had a crap few days and just wasn't motivated! But with the rest I ran 12:02 for 4.1Km on Saturday! State 5000m race in 2 days but unfortunately forecast is for extremely high humidity, 35C+ and perhaps some wind too! - we'll have to see but it's sure going to be hot
