Ha, this has been bugging me for years! The thing takes a while to print and then you are left with a mound of paper which I always just crumble and thow it into one of the bags.
Funny the "men stupid in commercials" would come up because my girlfriend, though otherwise very intelligent and rational, is a raging feminist who thinks all of society does everything possible to tell women they're ignorant, stupid, incompetent, unworthy, disgusting scum on the bottom of your shoe and men are the greatest things imaginable. Any time you ever try and actually talk to her about these things she just starts creating straw men after straw men after straw men to make you out to be a pig. I guess it's not really an inconsequential thing because if it wasn't for this shed be damn near perfect, but not being able to have a rational conversation with someone is a pretty big problem, especially when their position that they're so insane about is clearly wrong, as evidenced by said commercials.
So I guess that was my rant.
Actual inconsequential things:
My dad who talks about 30 dB louder than necessary in public places even though he has no hearing problems.
Having to repeat myself more than once.
People who sit at a stop sign or street light and try to let everyone else go instead of going when they're supposed to.
Anyone who thinks it's their job to tell other people how to live their life.

I agree whole heartedly with your comment regarding the male in commercials being made to look like an idiot. But you can take it a step farther......the WHITE male is always the bumbling idiot.
If there's male-female, the male is an idiot or else it would be sexist.
If there's white-black people involved, the white guy is the idiot or else it would be racist.
It is always the white male who is made to look like a stupid idiot. Many sit-coms also follow this pattern. The dad is always the baffoon.

1) When discovering that I enjoy running, people invariably ask me if I have run a marathon.
2) When people refer to my favorite pastime as "jogging."

When someone who is trying to make a left turn guns it as soon as the light turns green, cutting in front of oncoming traffic. God damn it boils my blood just thinking about it.

This one really bothers my mother, but I have no problem with it. Depending on the situation, I could answer either, "You're welcome," or "No Problem."
You help someone move: "Thanks." "You're welcome."
You hold the door open for someone: "Thanks." "No problem."
"You're welcome" is used when your action required extra effort or some sort of accomodation on your part.
"No problem" is used to respond to "Thanks" for the nice incidental things that we do daily in society to make the world a little friendlier place.
people (walking or running) who don't acknowledge you when you wave or smile.
When the mom in a caravan shows up to the four way stop at least a second ahead of me and just sits there and stares at my car until I go.
People who pass me when I'm going 5 over only to take a left at the next light.
