The point of my original post was to suggest that the final lap pace of any highly competitive race would be fairly close. I estimated 1.5 seconds of difference. Obviously as indicated by Mr. Canova's post, in a ridiculously slow paced 10k,Yifter was below 50 seconds in a final lap. I don't know if anyone has closed in 48.3 seconds, but I would be surprised. However, due to the slow pace of Yifter's 10k, I would throw it out of the sample simply because of the relative jog (for him) prior to the finishing 400.
