Deep field at New Haven 20k. Predictions?

Google Earth elevation is good for getting a general idea of elevation but it's not always that accurate. E.g. if you look at the elevation profile on Google Earth of an outdoor track from an aerial view, you'd conclude it must be slightly lobsided and uphill 10meters!!!

Prediction: New Haven will remain the world's 4th-ranked 20 km.

I just marked off 4 laps on a track using that USATF/Google Maps utility. 13 foot climb? 25 foot net elevation change? That's a lot hillier than I remember it being.

it's a nice course. discipline is needed to hold back in the 1st half from the excitement of being in a national championship. the middle of the course can be very hot this time of year and the wind can play a factor as well.

Mo Trafeh wins easily if hes in the shape he was at NYC half (1:00:39), and I believe he is ! and there no way hes doing drugs !!! He eats, SLEEPS and trains...thats it.

Thanks Ray. Great course. Not rolling. A couple of hills, but I agree with Malmo, nothing to write home about. I ran well... on the better side of what I wanted... had too much left, but wasn't sure how to judge my effort. I was happy, though.
