If you are friends with a hippie then I don't care what you do. Go ahead and try to fly off a water tower.

NO this is a myth, there's no scientific evidence that any of it stays in your body. It is metabolized completely in a few hours. "flashbacks" are real though but they are a mental phenomenon rather than a physical one.
http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_myth1.shtmlhas anyone done as much acid as I have? I have done it 30-40 times.
I am doing OK. I have a steady job, 30-40 hours/week, just got 2 dollar/hour raise. I am going to college half time and paying for it myself.
I do have flashbacks on occasion that have started recently. not too intense just patterns swirling, but easy to catch and stop. It's almost like surprise acid that lasts 10 seconds.

probably 75-100 times in a span of a few years
sometimes you drop acid, sometimes acid drops you
This is false. You lack friends.
Why does every post on this board come down to asshats demanding scientific proof. No right minded scientist cares to research what you talk about on a leisure board and scientific evidence is reallyy REALLY hard to get, nevermind when dealing with illegal substances. Who will fund that?
You can still have a dialogue about things without scientific evidence on the table. There are enough accounts of the good and the bad. The presence of enough bad accounts is sufficient to say that it's not a safe drug. Sure you might get a great trip, but there are documented accounts of people going nuts off the stuff. Not safe. Not worth it.
I myself have also dropped acid many times (40-50 hits probably). I don't have flashbacks nor any other health or mental issues. It has been 5 years or so since the last time I tripped. I have a wonderful job and live in one of the most exclusive zip codes in the country. It will do nothing but open your eyes to the world. I wouldn't tell you to go and do it just bc of that, but psychodelic substances have been used since the beginning of time for various reasons. Don't offer an opinion on something with such conviction if you have never tried it. It's like the people who say weed makes people do crazy things. It doesnt. Unless you are already F'd in the head anyways. But that;s no different than people going to an arcade and having a seizure...should we ban video game arcades? Try it for yourself and make draw your own conclusions. That goes for everything in life.
I'm 50 now. Damn.
I probably did acid/mescaline every month -- sometimes every 2-3 weeks -- or so for 5 or 6 years in colelge and afterward. No biggie.
Quality control was crappy back then and I doubt that has changed.
Worst was when they cut the acid with strychnine and you're speeding. Ugh. You'd have to drink lots of alochol to calm that down.
Have a good job, family, etc., and still run. I don't think it killed me. . .

Dude, how hard is it to remember that we're all one, love everybody, treat everything with respect, and that the answers to hardest questions will remain a mystery?

A ton of research has been done on LSD, the results aren't difficult to find. The problem is that much of the research was conducted on mentally ill patients, so the results might not mean a lot to you or me.
