What kind of idiot even counts a "rolling" start. You mean a cheating start!! You're probably one of those people who starts their watch late and stops it early, starts in lane 2 stagger, then cuts inside but still counts it as 400m!!
Anna Williard Pierce is 1000 times better at 800/1500 than the steeple. I have a feeling she was vastly undertrained at Brown, maybe a little unfocused on track or school was tough, who knows. Once at UM she really trained well and saw some major drops at 8/15, I think at Penn Relays. She will never run the steeple again.
She'd be a solid 53 on relay somewhere, not sure where 50 flat came from.

Anna is a quitter..When she is consistently beaten at any specific distance, she quits competing at that distance. First was the steeple, next will be the 1500 and finally it will be the 800. Then maybe she can concentrate on the 5000 when she is old and slow.
