I remember seeing Hogan's name after the fact. How was she allowed to run in GW uniform if GW does not have a NCAA track team (just curious)? I thought she was done, but if she's doing grad school running, then this will get interesting.
Thought I heard that Kehl was going to LaSalle. Didn't he actually get down to 408 or 409?
This probably won't change much, but St Bonnies got a new XC coach:

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure associate athletic director Steve Campbell announced the addition of Bob Macfarlane to the department of athletics staff as the head men's and women's cross country coach on Wednesday.
"We are excited to have Bob take over the reins of our cross country program. He was very successful at Bradford High School for the past several years and we look forward to Coach Macfarlane's impact on the St. Bonaventure program," said Campbell. "He is a very knowledgeable in distance running and we are confident that his success at Bradford High along with his enthusiasm will enhance our recruiting efforts. Bob is an excellent addition to our staff and to the greater St. Bonaventure community."
Prior to coming to St. Bonaventure, he served as the head varsity girls cross country coach at Bradford Area School District for the past seven years. He led the cross country team to a 66-4 dual meet record as well as five Pennsylvania District IX AAA titles and coached four individual district champions. Macfarlane coached five state qualifying teams and one state medalist.
Macfarlane served as the Bradford Area head girls' track and field coach in 2008-09, but was the assistant coach for the girls' team for 13 years prior. During his time at Bradford, he assisted the team to eight Pennsylvania District IX AAA Championships including a Pennsylvania State title in 1996. Macfarlane was also the distance coach for the Bradford Indoor Track and Field team for eight years.
In both 2003 and 2004, Macfarlane was the head coach for Team New York/Pennsylvania, leading the 2003 team to an international title in Australia.
Macfarlane is a teacher at Bradford since 1977 in both the secondary and elementary schools and has been a lead teacher for the past three years. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, teaching World Regional Geography and Methods of Social Studies Teaching.
He graduated with a bachelor's in elementary and secondary education with a concentration in history from St. Bonaventure in 1977 and received also his master's of education from St. Bonaventure.
Predictions for individual winner?
Llano, Benford, Lemon, other?
Lasalle always looks good and Charlotte will step up at somepoint, they won't be that bad. Xaiver's Ohlman went to Xtown because he wanted a full and would only consider schools offering a full, so I hear.
With everyone returning, I agree with lkasfd, Xavier looks like the dark horse team for the season. Their top 5 looks to be very sharp and ready to go. With A-10 indoor champ Tommy Kauffmann returning for his final season and the nice duo of Keith Albrektson and Hank Geer still hanging around for a while, Xavier gets a nice recruit in Tom Ohlman and gets a guy back from a redshirted season (I believe it was Ben Foley, correct me if I’m wrong). Don’t be surprised if this team shows up at conference and has an outstanding day.
Overall I feel it’s too early to predict who’ll win. I heard the course that A-10 conference is being hosted at is pretty challenging, mostly due to the hills and a limestone type running terrain that the runners will be on. Will this course have an effect on who wins either the team title or individual title?

PHILADELPHIA, P.A. - St. Joseph's associate athletic director Kevin Quinn announced the addition of former La Salle head coach Charles Torpey to the department of athletics staff as the assistant men's and women's cross country coach on Wednesday.
"We are excited to have Charles take over the reins of our cross country program. He was very successful at La Salle for the past several years and we look forward to Coach Torpey's impact on the St. Joseph's program," said Quinn. "He is a very knowledgeable in distance running and we are confident that his success at La Salle along with his enthusiasm will enhance our recruiting efforts. Charles is an excellent addition to our staff and to the greater St. Bonaventure community."
Prior to coming to St. Joseph's, he served as the head varsity men's and women's cross country and track coach at La Salle University for the past several years. He led the cross country team to numerous A-10 titles, both individual and team, and coached distance specialist Sean Quigley to medals in the NCAA championships, in addition to a competitive placing at the USA national championships. Torpey previously coached at Maryland.
Torpey has close ties to the area. In both 2003 and 2004, Torpey was the head coach for the Philadelphia Athletic Club, a local post-collegiate team with Olympic Trial-level competitors from the 5k to the marathon.
Torpey is a teacher at Teddy Meyers Middle School for Boys since 1977 in both the secondary and elementary schools and has been a lead teacher for the past three years. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Twosies at Reading, teaching Child Psychology and special courses in Social Services.
Long time SJU Head Coach Michael Glavin could not be reached for comment Friday.
could be a toss up with the winner, i'll wait till the season begins to see who's doing good.
How does St. Bonaventure University always seem to get the best recruits in the conference year in and year out??? It just makes me think about the future of the Atlantic 10.
St. Bonaventure has seemed to have had a coaching change. What impact do you think new head coach Bob Macfarlane can have that can bring St. Bonaventure to the top of the A10???

If they are, it doesn't show.
who are the new transfers to look out for? Also, is there any truth to the rumor that Korey Edwards was granted an 8th year of eligibility? that could really offset the loss of jones defecting to Temple.
Wait, why did Jones go to Temple? I ran with him in h.s. but I haven't spoken to him in a few months. Last I heard he loved lasalle. He said it was a great team atmosphere. Lots of support.
I think he wanted to change majors, and Lasalle didn't offer pharmacology (I'm pretty sure thats what he wanted to study). I guess Temple is known for Pharmacology or something. Torpey leaving might have had something to do with it too. I'll ask him.
Wow, St. Joe's runners really have nothing better to do with their time than try to be funny on letsrun. Know what, i'll just stop now because they're pathetic enough without people calling them out
what Matt Jelley is cookin????
I can't comment on the reputation of our Pharmacology, but soon the only program we're known for will be our xcountry/track powerhouse!
take cover, jabronies. There's a darkness on the edge of town and it's a storm of Owls spreading their wings, ready to lay the smacketh down on your collective candy A$$!!!!
