How do you respond to people who say "you're too skinny"?

I'm 6'1" and 136.

Girls always mention how skinny I am or how thin my wrists are. I actually never know what to say back. Sometimes I say thank you, but that doesn't really work.

yeah i sometimes get this one from my freinds... but on my track team everyone is skinnier than me. ( I'm 6' 1-2" and 154) and i feel like a tank around the other guys. They're all like 130 or 140. Do you guys think i'm normal or skinny?

The correct response would be "You should have seen me last year when I was bulimic!!"

actually, you're a bit fat for a runner....i'm 5'7" and 125-130 lbs...and i haven't run competitively in years!

5'9" 132 and i feel like i could lose a few. lighter the better!

Dude... if you're 5'8" 140lbs, then YOU ARE SKINNY!! accept this fact and realize that you're gonna be a sissy the rest of your life. There's nothing you can say back that will make you look cool because you'll just get your ass kicked.

I think you're confusing being skinny with not having muscle. Many male runners I know weigh around 140 but are around average height. Most of them aren't skinny because they have no muscle--they're skinny because they have no fat. Is a muscular skinny guy a "sissy" compared to a round and flabby fat guy? Well, suit yourself.

You are fat. brother. Man I feel sorry for you. 5'7 and 150 God leeee you aint running fast thats for sure. 5'7 and 140 is still fat for running. You should be 135 if you want to move your ass at a decent pace. But you probably aren't a runner so it's ok for you to look sexy and show off your big upper body with your tiny skinny unproportional legs. Peace

Yeah, but my ego's so big it averages out.

Said with confidence this usually works. I'm 6'0", 135 and have gotten laid by saying this.

I get this all the time too, because I work in a traditional union job populated by "beefy" (i.e. obese) guys.

Their wives always tell me they would love to have a daughter more like Paris Hilton than rosie ODonnell lol.
