Yeah, I just watched it in slo-mo, and it's pretty obvious that he stepped on the line. Probably wouldn't have affected the race, but such is the nature of DQs. They have to stick to their standards and it breaks my heart, but Symmonds made a wrong move and lost out for it.

This is rather typical of the Oregon bullshitters. The fact is, he was DQed for stepping on the line 10 meters in front of the break line. This is indeed cheating if he was breaking too soon.
