Way to go, Arizona. A downtrodden high school rises to become state champions, and not only that, but send many runners off to college to get an education, and the district fires the coaches. The assistant coach is likely the same person that ran for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix in approx. 1995. If it is him he has been in the US for at least 14 years and still has not managed to gain citizenship or a visa?

As for you people saying we should let anyone in the country, it is not a big deal to break the law, etc. Why are they coming here? Because their own country is not near as nice to live in. Also, look at Mexico's laws and what happens if you try to sneak into Mexico and work there illegally.

And what of those immigrants who infact pay social security, welfare, federal, and state taxes? These individuals are unlikely to ever collect on these benefits for fear of being deported, so instead the merely become a perpetual deposit in the Social Security and welfare bank accounts. The question really is whether National boarders and citizenship are really meaningful or not, and whether it is protection against criminal unknowns that we have the issue with. There are tons of citizens who don't have insurance and who further press up the costs of health care and auto insurance. Criminality is not restricted to a question of origin, but rather of inequality, pathological psychology, and circumstance.

Yeah, that was my thought also. I would think the coach, or former coach, would have advised them against this. But it is their choice.
ONCE - just once, I'd like to read a thread where someone is not bashing someone else for having an opinion, even if it seems that the opinion is dead-wrong. Even if their grammar is not perfect.
What evidence do you have that illegal immigrants are the cause of disease? Or that they are "stealing" the jobs of hard-working Americans? Or that 90% of them are hard criminals? Or that they are living tax-free?
Most of the disease we see in America is due to the industrialization of meat products. Most of us can afford things like housing due to the cheap cost of production that illegal immigrants are willing to live with because American citizens aren't. Don't just blame immigrants because you feel it is convenient to your argument. We benefit from their presence as much as they do.

First, I think this thread should be yanked. There is a lot of hate being spewed by both sides. If it's different, obviously it's bad. Right?
Second, he did break the law. As pedantic as that is, it's the facts.
Third, immigrants tend to come here for a better standard of living. However, they tend to regress after a generation or two and do not assimilate.
Fourth, anyone that shows up to a hospital cannot be denied care. Regardless of the fact that they're not a citizen or cannot pay for the care (yes, that helps drive up everyone's insurance prices. it's called deferred costs).
Lastly, for all those who are bashing the US, go live some place else already. Or do something to make it better. And NO! Voting for Obama doesn't count.

Since you seem to know so much about me you know that I hear first hand from law enforcement of the hit and run drivers they catch - mostly all are illegal (about 60%). Just because you run doesn't mean you are not always caught. What facts do you have to back up your claims in San Antonio?
Did you know that Phoenix is the kidnapping capital of the US, and it is attributed directly to Mexican drug gangs and human traffickers (who are not here legally by the way. A few assorted members are, but they are used as pawns-obtain stash houses, bank accounts etc). Law enforcement in Arizona and the Phoenix area in general are being stretched very thin going after people and activities that rarely existed 10 years ago.
And as stated you are 100% incorrect about medical care. Go back in your closet and try again after studying facts, not racial bias.
