Jordan Hasay makes her collegiate debut this weekend at the Dellinger Invite - how will she do?

Jordan Hasay.....mmmmmm.....never heard of her.

Well, I find it hard to believe that this could be true of Vin, given how well his teams have done. Teams generally can't flourish amidst the disfunction of which you speak. And part of me hopes you're right, as I have resentments towards the whole arrangement, I just find it hard to believe.

Is this a joke?? I know Americans are insular but have you seen what girls her age can run outside of America?? Even in Britain there are girls who run faster at her age. The ethiopians are on the world stage at 17/18 as are the Kenyans.

The girl is good, and could be a great collegiate, but she has to actually start running in college before you go too crazy.

World beater - i'm not sure she justifies that expectation yet.

another great letsrun thread with no information whatsoever. I learned nothing from this thread and I have no basis for judging how well she will run. Thank you.

People have doubted Jordan since she hit the running scene...so far the sceptics are wrong. I hope she does well!

Someone on the Oregon team (or close to the team) could inform. She is working out with some of the best and it is not too difficult to benchmark her fitness and likely performance.

My guess is that she is training exceedingly well - exciting to be in a college environment and with a background in terms of times and performance that puts her ahead of her teammates. Injury or sickness would be the thing to worry about.

She has been indeed training very well with the team in their camp at Sun River. Putting in lots of mileage and should be nice and ready for Dellinger. Expect to see some quick times, as it will be her first race setting... however, the REAL times will come in November.

she'll finish, but not among the top athletes. After all, she is a freshman and needs a couple years to develop.

"Jordan needs a couple of years to develop"...I could be wrong but didn't she beat quite a few college women in the Olympic trials? Jordan was moderate mileage for high school. I would think that some mileage under her legs would throw her into another gear. I saw on the website that Baylor women are running. Erin Bedell had a great summer and should do well. I'm still waiting on Nicole Jones to bust out with a good cross season...that girl has so much talent I wonder what went wrong with her last season? Stephanie Morgan was a top recruit for Baylor and I'm looking forward to see how she will race.
