Shalane Flanagan.
Shalane Flanagan.
Andrew Wheating is pretty F---ing impressive: 6'4" and perfect biomechanics.
I don't know if it's the "best" or not, but Hall has a beautiful stride. Hard to top this picture, especially for a guy in the late stages of a marathon: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2283/1892377321_21e9e97bd6.jpg
Garry Bjorklund. Even with one shoe off.
I've never seen him run before
No mention of Dave Wottle so far? Most efficient running form of anyone in middle distance......also allowed him to be MAC cross country champ (1973).
Lagat FTW
Gabe Jennings
Joe Falcon.
I've watched him on TV, ran against him in person and watched him from the stands and hands down he wins the award.
Not American butt...
KIM SMITH
just saw that for the first time. Impressive stuff. Carol Lewis though. Wow.
Ryan Hall I think has the best form.
Galen Rupp is pretty smooth.
Don't see Ritz as having the greatest form...very good, but not great.
Obviously Lagat looks like he is floating.
Are'nt we forgetting El Guerrouj?
Smooth as silk.
that girl from davis high school -- lauranne chetelat
Watching Hall makes me think I should realistically be able to run 5 min miles for 20 miles while taking fluids in the mountains. My body doesn't agree.
Hall by far.
Bill McChesney Jr. had the best form that I have ever seen on any runner at any time and any country. Check the home page for Let's Run for a link to the documentary. Tell me what you think.
Billy McChesney Jr. Any country and all time. Beautiful form. Like a dancer.
Garrett Heath
Shorter, Bjorklund and Greg Fredericks had the best form of any distance runner the US has produced.
Anyone mentioning anyone else is wrong.
Don Paige mid-distance comes to mind, smooth, powerful, great acceleration
Shorter among the marathoners for my money.
