funny, I was just looking at that. Scotty's performance puts him 9th all time collegiate...just behind Henry Rono. Rohatinsky was bumped from the list last night. The lists are up on the track and field news site. I'd post it here, but I think they and their advertisers would prefer people go to their site and look.
I remeber when Bauhs 1st ran 4:16, it was @ my high schools invitational, JK withers ran 4:10, Yosef ghebray ran 4:13, Jake Schmitt ran 4:15, and Scott ran 4:16 for 4th, now he is better than all of those guys at their respective events (even JK who is a 1500 guy, Scott's mile PR is a faster converted time). Way to go scott, way to rep NCS
According to Track and Field News, Bauhs would be 9th all-time on the NCAA list for 10k (all divisions).

I also think that Quigley will run faster if he has the chance at either NCAA's or USATF. Look at how much better he ran at NCAA's then he did in his qualifier last year. Him and his coach have a history of getting him ready when it matters. Of course the Same could be said for Scott. I also am interested to see if Rupp will get a chance to better his time either at USATF or in europe.
It's conjecture, of course, but I think Quigley could have run close to 27:50, if not under, if he ran at Cardinal. I don't think a 13 second drop with 5 more weeks of training/fitness would be out of the question.
hmmm this DII kid is world class....looks like he'll be able to run with a few DI guys...

A standard is 27:50. Bauhs stayed on pace to hit the standard when some solid veterans fell off, like Bizuneh and Fitschen.
The announcers on Flotrack were bemoaning the fact that, as a DII collegian, Bauhs couldn't run in the DI meet. But that may work out to his advantage. He has much bigger opportunities awaiting him than the NCAA DI meet.
Lagat 10K DNF? Rabbit? I don't remember this.
