...Is that you Moses?
I don't think it's possible.
so for those of you that have been to nat's before, are the party's legit?
Very legit. It's the only time that Western and Adams are friends. Chico is pretty legit too and GVSU always trying to join but no one really ever wants them too. Definitely worth attending, from what I can remember.....
If you can remember anything then it was not worth it. Hell I was done before getting into the post-race dinner one year.
Okay, I know there will be jokes at my expense, but this is a serious question. What do teams wear for the opening ceremony on Friday?
Haha I know, I know, but really if you can't remember ANYTHING then I would say it wasn't worth it. I certainly remember the morning's after and then having to drive back.

you are a douche...you are done with college, move on with your life..tool.
Okay, but does it have to be team colors???!!!
Ok so really, the South region got no love at all. I highly doubt Florida Southern is only the 25th best team in the nation. Just cause they run at low key meets and win a weaker region doesn't mean they aren't good. The didn't even run there 3rd runner at regionals and still won easily. Can the South get a little more love from anyone, anyone on here anyways?

They are not that good but you are right, they should be ranked 22nd - 25th. Hopefully they upset some.
Fact of the matter is that they wouldn't have placed in the top 10 at the North Central or Great Lakes region.
Watch out for Stonehill.
I disagree completely, top 10 in the Great Lakes region, are you kidding me? First off I know your thinking the times are faster from the GL region than the South region, but can't compare apples to oranges since the course are clearly not the same. But to put some perspective into it, assuming the courses are similar, I saw the South course, not a fast course, Harding head to head would have beat number 9 Tiffin in the GL region, and Harding finished 4th. \Yes I realize that the region is weaker but lets not say that the winner woudln't finish in the top 10, I think Florida Southern will give NKU a run for their money at nats so lets give credit where credit is due. Also when a race is deeper you have more people to pull you along to faster times, and in that respect the GL region is much deeper and therefore more people can pull the race along faster. I don't know but I think the GVSU guys were cruising for the win, could have run faster, ie that course may be faster than the south region course.
the SIUE course for the GL region isnt what I would call fast. The first mile and a half is fast, but then you get some pretty big hills. Also, the course was long from 6 miles to 10k. All the splits were right on, and then the last .2 was almost 1:40, which is like :20-:30 seconds slower than it should have been.
so Peck was cruising to a 31:0x on a hilly, long course????? Cmon he is good but is he up there with the Brauns and Hogarths?
Here is a link to the thread about people across the country wanting to do a 5.5 mile run in honor of Ryan Shay on November 17th. Would anyone be up for a nice little 5.5 mile cooldown after the nationals race? I know that is a bit more than most people are used to running after a race, especially nationals... But I think that it would be pretty special to show that our sport honors our fellow runners, and that it would be an impressive tribute to get everyone who races to participate. Just a thought.
Please reply if you think that you'd be interested.
