I am 40, took my 14 year old son to see the movie with me and we both laughed our asses off. The McLovin character was brilliant and Seth and Evan's characters were so nerdy that it made me uncomfortable, yet they still got the girls they wanted in the end.
The cops were absolutely hilarious also. Yes, it's full of dirty words, dick jokes and pre-pubescent humor. If you're expecting an Oscar winner, don't go.

Agree with you 100% here. I loved the movie but might put Knocked Up as a little better but that might be because I am out of college. I think any high school or college kid would love this movie.It is definitely a movie I'll buy when it comes out.

i think someone said this earlier but if your one of the people that dont swear, dont go through life always looking at girls, or dont drink...then this movie is for you. i rarely laughed because basically it is a movie about a lot of college guys lives. i found hot rod to be more interesting and funnier(because it was so stupid).
Well it looks like out of the almost 60 posts about 58 of the people like it so I am guessing this only your opinion below. For those wanting to know if you should see it 58/60 say you should.

I don't know what all the talk about having to have a low iq or be 17 to appreciate this movie is about.
I am 25, graduated with a 3.8 GPA in biochem and i thought this movie was brilliant. without a doubt the funniest movie i've ever seen. if you don't think this movie is funny then i would hate to think what it would take to make you laugh...this movie blows knocked up and the 40 year old virgin out of the water.
Finally saw it tonight, and rated it 3 stars out of 5 on netflix. Some funny parts, ultimately sweet, but too long and a bit boring at times. Lack of boobage was a disappointment, but there was some strangely enough in the extras on the DVD.
