Obviously you've never been there otherwise you'd completely understand and embrace what we're smoking

Denver may not "rock," but it's amazing that anyone thinks it sucks. If you have lived in Los Angeles and Phoenix and Seattle and Detroit and Boston and Portland, ME and Denver as I have, you would know that Denver most definitely does not suck, especially compared to Albuquerque. Denver has beautiful weather most of the year (300 days of sunshine like San Diego), decent culture, four major sports teams plus major league soccer, arena football, and lacrosse, one of the most highly educated workforces of any US city, and mostly FIT, ATHLETIC, generally good-looking people, unlike the East and South. Not to mention the easy access to one giant national park in the Rocky Mountains and maybe the best skiing in the country. It's hard to find much wrong with Denver, except for maybe the lack of beaches and fantastic lakes, though there are some in the mountains.

I don't dislike these towns, but I can't stand the attitudes of many of the people that come from there. Yes, some are great people, but some of these people have serious issues.

By every 'real' a measure, cities like San Diego, Austin and Charlotte are tops. Philly is cool and New York is special and unique in so many ways that if you say it sucks, I am sure you've never lived there.
Atlanta is overrated; it may have been a nice place to live 10 years ago.
BOSTON? You're kidding, right?

Brother, you are preaching to the choir, but I am referring to Colorado in my case. The trouble is, all of the great spots are being/have been discovered, not just Seattle and not just Denver. Seattle used to be wonderful (much of my family is from there), and I can't think of a better place to be in the summer than the San Juan Islands. There is a reason why there is a mass migration West. I can't believe how many Yankees fans there were at the Rockies-Yankees series and what a bunch of ass wipes they were. It was great to sweep that team.
