Your run that workout and you're still only a 4:27 miler? Go get yourself a coach, because you're not training correctly.

forwards or backwards 400 repeats? why would i run 90's?

I SAID EVERYTHING BACKWARDS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED!!!! THAT'S WHY YOU WOULD RUN 90'S BECAUSE YOU CANNOT GO FAST BACKWARDS!!!! Under 65 forward is not as good for backwards running as 90s backwards. 90 is a place to start because its backwards and you probably have never done that workout before, if you can run faster (which I doubt), go faster. ALWAYS run backwards, except where I say to run forward.
You are stupid.
my apologies. 90 would probably even be too fast for 400 repeats backwards. you shouyld have been more distinct when mentioning that part of the regimen.
is running forward even necessary for this type of training? i think not; that is why i questioned your forward running inquiry.
Remember doing backward running drills for running forward? Same principle here, do a couple of forward strides on certain days, it improves your biomechanics. Try to emphasize higher knees on the forward strides.
this dude is gay...
since you seem to have more knowledge in the sport of backwards running than anybody else on this board, how long before i can race? i obviously need to have a time trial soon to see where i am at; then after all of the physiological preperation stages, i shouls be ready to attemp a wr. i seriously going to have a crowd at the race, and will probably put the race on youtube.
i am currently trying to make connection with guiness records, as i have e-mailed them and also written them a standard letter. i should receive the e-mail back within a day or so, saying the withnesses/proof/etc that needs to be at the race for me to have eligibility for the wr, and for them to put it in their book.
Give us an explanation why you think you can break the world record. Just because you can run 12 400s in 65 or better doesn't mean you can run one 400 in 69. You haven't even time trialed yet. When you run your time trial in 90, do you still think you will be able to improve 21 seconds???
I want you to break the record, I really do, but at this point there is no reason to think you have a shot.
Well, post how your workout times are going and we'll see how long it will take. You will need time. Check out my website for more information.
How can you be running 12x400 in 65 and still be 'the430miler'. You're so full of Sh1t.
ive ran 427.
also, are you assuming that i got 0-10 seconds recovery on the interals?
"I've run 4:27."Looks like a JC is in the future for our hero.

are you perhaps insinuating that i attend a junior college?
may i remind you that i am indeed a junior in highschool?
i have decided that i will have a reverse 400meter time trial tomarrow (tuesday) and see where i am at and make a logical goal other than just a 68. i may aim for faster than a 68. but 68 is the world record.
after i trial, i should be know how long i will need to train in order to attempt and break the wr.
