bump for Stipe's test run in the RC....
I've put 60 miles on my RC 2 so far which consisted of an 18 miler, a 12 mile tempo run, a 5k race, and easy runs. They feel great! The ride is smooth and low to the ground. They are very light, flexible and wide in the forefoot. The only negatives are the plastic on the bottom and the last. I don't think these shoes are going to last me upwards of 300 miles.
I agree that the LT is a very light, flexible and comfortable shoe. I just can't wear them because the adjustment from a 8mm drop in my last shoe and the RC to a 10.5mm drop in the LT is too much. I only did two runs in them and my legs (schinns, achilies)bothered me due to the raised heel.

just wait till next year fellas. adizero PR. 3.9 ounces. Also, if the samples are correct, they've removed the plastic stuff from the forefoot of the RC and made it all blown rubber. Perfection, IMHO.
NEXT YEAR!!!
How do I get my hands on them sooner???
How are they only 3.9oz with the addition of blown rubber?
Any pics?
Thanks!

Have done training sessions in both the RC2 and LT2 over the past few days...both have a nice snug supportive feeling fit (and I am a real forefoot striker with foot problems from 39 years of racing)...MOST impressive in both cases are their responsiveness upon impact...they just feel fast.
Have used the RC2 on the track for repetition work and will use them for anerobic threshold session on the track next. If I could still race the marathon distance, the LT2 would be a good option...light and fast but still protective...in an even lighter shoe you are so beaten up by 30K...this'd be a good 1/2 marathon and above shoe...or, just perfect for a day when you need to get out of the clunky training shoes and run with a little zip in your stride...god stuff!
PS can they REALLY make a 3.9 oz shoe...that'd be off-the-charts incredible!
